PREHISPANIC MEXICAN CUISINE
PREHISPANIC MEXICAN CUISINE
Maize, sacred food.
Service Description
Long before the arrival of Europeans in the Americas, in the heart of the central highlands, a civilization flourished that turned cooking into both art and ritual: the Mexica, or Aztec, culture. Their world revolved around a sacred, humble, and powerful grain: maize. For the Mexica, maize was not just food—it was life, origin, and destiny. Enjoy a day of cooking, tour of a traditional market and lunch.
